Helpful information about our products and how to use them

What’s the difference between 3000K and 6000K LED lighting?

The colour temperature refers to the warmth or coolness of the light. 3000K gives off a warm white light ideal for residential and hospitality settings, while 6000K produces a cool white suited to task lighting in kitchens, bathrooms, retail, or commercial installs.

Is LED lighting suitable for use in bathrooms or outdoor areas?

Yes, but always check the IP rating. For bathrooms, IP44 or above is generally required depending on the zone. For outdoor installs, opt for IP65 or higher to protect against water and dust ingress.

How long does LED lighting typically last on site?

High-quality LED lighting typically lasts between 25,000 and 50,000 hours — ideal for clients who want low-maintenance lighting. LEDs also maintain brightness over time and don’t suffer from the frequent switching failures that affect halogens.
