Helpful information about our products and how to use them

How do I choose the right driver for my LED strip setup?

Calculate the total wattage of your LED strip run, then select a driver with at least 10–20% extra capacity to ensure long-term reliability. For example, a 30W load should be paired with a 36W–40W driver. Always match the voltage (e.g. 12V or 24V) exactly.

What's the difference between constant voltage and constant current LED drivers?

LED strips require constant voltage drivers, which supply a fixed voltage (usually 12V or 24V). Constant current drivers are used for specialised fittings or COB modules and should only be used when specified.

Can one LED driver power multiple strips?

Yes — as long as the total wattage of the connected strips doesn’t exceed the driver’s rated capacity. Use parallel wiring, not series, and ensure all strips operate at the same voltage. For longer runs, consider using multiple drivers or an amplifier.
